Leading Dermatologist Discusses Chemical Peels in a New Online Video
New York -

In the latest episode of DermTV.com, respected dermatologist Dr. Neal Schultz
discusses superficial chemical peels.

New York, New York – November 24, 2009 – One of the best ways for a person to refresh and rejuvenate their skin is by getting a chemical peel.  In DermTV.com’s “Chemical Peels” episode, Dr. Schultz discusses the most common type of chemical peel – the superficial peel.  He explains how it works and what patients can expect to feel during and after the procedure.

Sometimes dead skin cells don’t fall off the face when they’re supposed to.  Instead, they accumulate on the surface of the skin, giving it a dull or matted look.  “The superficial chemical peel helps alleviate this problem by making the skin smoother, by restoring a sheen and luster and by evening out the color,” explains Dr. Schultz. He also explains that chemical peels require “no downtime and there are no visible marks.”  As a matter of fact, many people refer to them as “lunchtime peels” because they can reapply their make-up and go back to work as soon as the procedure is completed.

According to Dr. Schultz, everyone can have beautiful, healthy, and younger looking skin.  Many people just don’t know where to turn for authoritative and trustworthy advice.  Dr. Schultz, a New York-based cosmetic dermatologist with over 30 years of experience, has created DermTV.com to provide easily accessible answers for common dermatological questions and concerns.
