- Quebec City, QC, Canada, July 31, 2006 -- Mezocore Technologies, co-founded by Dr Rahul Shetty, was awarded the Second Pierre Peladeau Award as a best Quebec University Student start up venture, for the year 2006 on in Montreal, Canada in a gala function in May 10. The prize was awarded by Erik Peladeau, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Quebecor Inc, Canada.
Mezocore™ Technologies is a Quebec City, Canada, Biomedical venture that has been developing medical training software that simulates medical and surgical procedures. Designed by Dr.Rahul Shetty, a postdoctoral medical student at University Laval and one of the co-founders of Mezocore™ Technologies.
The Solutions package provides simulated training opportunities which are similar to "real life-like” training.The objective is to reduce errors in medicine.
